Importance of Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education is very important for young children. The capacity of the brain absorbs new learning peaks at age 3. Research shows that a Toddler’s brain develops over one hundred trillion brain synapses. A brain synapse is the “wiring between the brain cells that grasps learning.” It is during this period of life that the human brain has the highest potential for new learning.

Early Childhood Education is the key element that helps children build a good foundation for educational and life success.

High quality preschools and pre-kindergarten programs are geared to give young children a jumpstart to learning. Young children learn best through play. Teachers plan exciting and fun learning experiences based on what is developmentally appropriate for the age group they are working with. The State of Florida has developed The Florida State Learning Standards to guide teachers and parents as they plan activities and work with the children.

R’ Club Childcare operates 6 Early Learning Academies in Pinellas County and one in Hillsborough County that are known for their high quality.
